What’s Your Dream Job?
Imagine starting your career all over again. Which profession would you choose?

If I could turn back time, I’d probably struggle to decide because I’m drawn to so many professions. I’d be torn between becoming an interior designer, an architect, a real estate agent, an elementary school teacher, or a psychologist. Maybe I’d even end up working in a beauty salon 😊.
The truth is, I’m passionate about many wonderful careers—so choosing just one would be difficult.
And what about you—what’s your dream job?

Project Called “Career Change”
Is it really possible to change your career in midlife and finally step into your dream job?
“It’s never too late to change careers,” people often say. And from my perspective, that feels true.
When you’re genuinely passionate about something, that passion carries your motivation and persistence—you don’t need to search for them, they’re already there.
But is there a “perfect” formula for changing careers?
Of course not. It all depends on your lifestyle, finances, and daily responsibilities. If you have children to care for, a career change can be especially challenging, particularly during the transition from one job to another.

Still, a career change can be seen as a long-term project. And if you approach it that way, you might actually enjoy every step of the journey. By carving out time for yourself, you can create a thoughtful career-change plan without rushing. That extra time for preparation can even become a source of calm and enjoyment.
That’s the path I chose. I still work at my regular job, and finding free time isn’t easy—but I cherish every moment I spend on my project called “Career Change.”
And what’s the worst that can happen? That the career change doesn’t work out? Don’t forget—you still have your current job, and you’ve already gained something from the experience: the joy of working on a project that excites you. You really haven’t lost anything (especially if you haven’t invested a lot of money upfront). Thanks to digitalization, there are countless remote opportunities that require little to no initial investment. For me, lifestyle blogging turned out to be a perfect fit—it allows me to combine all of my passions in one place.
The most important thing is not to give up. Keep trying. Each attempt brings something new to learn, and with every step, you grow more confident. After all, it’s not just about the destination—it’s about enjoying the journey.
